on Sunday August the 8th

Barfly Promotions & Jets Sports Club presented the Grand opening of
Sydney Rock 'n' Roll & Alternative Markets
which featured a fabulous array of stalls

Rubi Rocket met a lot of fantastic people on the day, who not only purchased our jewellery but stopped for a chat.

We loved the day so much we thought we should do it again.

This month on September 19th, Rubi Rocket will have a stall at the Jet Sports Club at Tempe again, if you missed the last one be sure to stop by and have a great day out with the family.....

The talent Eliza who made a surprise debut of her solo trip-hop/electro act and pretty much got down over dope beats and scratches with DJ Wasabi wore a custom piece necklace that Rubi Rocket designed.

The 2nd Annual Sydney Tattoo & Body Art Expo is fast approaching with only one day to go; and Rubi Rocket is getting excited to be there!

We want to say hello to all of our wonderful customers, so be sure to come and
visit us at Stall 2,
where we will be selling an array of tattoo and kustom culture inspired jewellery pieces, with hot new designs, along with old faviourites available for purchase.

We are thrilled to be one of the retailers of this years expo and are proud to be sponsoring the event.

Rubi Rocket gift boxes will be given to the Pin-up Pagent winners and runners up of this contest, which is being presented by Deadbeat Magazine.

Special exclusive pieces have been made to give to the wonderful judges, entertainers and of course;
The Amazing Tattooed Pinup Babe Extraordinaire, very special guest

The Salvation Army's has been helping Australians in need by devoting there time and services to the community.

We were thrilled to be asked to create and manufacture a Key Ring bearing the Red Shield logo shaped into a Key for The Salvation Army, to be given to those who have helped with donations, charity and support along the way.

Beginning over 125 years ago, the salvation army has helped many individuals in the wider community, giving hope and help to the homeless and drug addicted youths and elderly citizens of Australia, helping them as they work to turn their lives around.

The Salvation Amy's goal has always been to help all Australians, with getting an education, becoming drug free, getting and maintain a full or part time job as well as helping with all living and social skills to succeed in their life.

Black Cherrys Christmas Bash !

Black Cherry's 2nd Christmas Bash at Hermanns Bar, Sydney turned out to be a fantastic night night, with the biggest turn out so far.

The Punters came thick and fast, they stayed to enjoy the DJ Set full of rock n roll music

with special guest DJ Jane Gazzo (Channel V) playing some fine tunes,

There was a live set played by Sydney rockers

Torch Le Monde! rocking out for the crowd

Topping off the night, there were three gorgeous Burlesque dancers, Gypsy Wood, La Viola Vixen and Brianna Bluebell who all shaked there thing for the audience, teasing the cheering crowd, for a memorable evening of Sexy Burlesque Dancing and Christmas Cheer.

We seen lots of amazing acts throughout the day, but we had a soft spot for Boy & Bear (triple j unearthed winner), Eddy Current Suppression Ring, Sia, Fuckoars and Red Raiders.. oh and The Aston Shuffle.. ok we could go on forever, everyone was awesome that we got to see

Youth Off The Streets supports homeless and drug addicted young Australians as they work to turn their lives around. Their goal is to help these young people with a high school education, become drug free, a full or part time job and the living skills to succeed in their life.

Youth Off The Streets will be holding their 6th Annual “Celebration of Youth” Dinner at the Hilton Sydney on Saturday August 29th. Australian rockabilly fans from far and wide came to Brisbane to see the awesome event of rockabilly, hilly hop and rockin bop at Greaze Fest 2009 - a festival to celebrate and pay homage to all things kustom kulture.

Rubi Rocket was there with a Rock'in store, selling our little goodies to all the dolls and greazers on the day.

The weather was awesome and it turned out to be a great event for those who appreciate cool cars and hot rods, vintage bikes, lowrider cycles, lowbrow art, tattoos and vintage threads.
